Speakers
Bob Cooper, Frontier Service Design
"Shotgun + Pitbull + School Bus = Success"
Bob Cooper, founder of Frontier Service Design, will share real world examples of how companies have used service design methods to make life easier for their customers (and themselves) while also opening up new opportunities for revenue and more profitable, value-added relationships.
About Bob Cooper
Bob Cooper is a serial entrepreneur who founded one of North America's first full-service interactive marketing firms, Frontier Media Group, Inc., in 1991. In 1998, Cooper sold Frontier Media Group to Icon CMT, a NASDAQ listed company, and earned his angel investors a 70X return on their investment. Four months later, Qwest Communications, a $3.5 billion telecommunications company, acquired Icon CMT. At Qwest, Cooper served as Senior Vice President in charge of Strategic Consulting and built a nationwide staff.
In 2008, he launched Frontier Service Design, a consultancy that designs new and innovative sources of revenue for client companies, from new startups to well established Fortune 100 corporations.
Cooper has lectured on entrepreneurship, marketing and service design as both adjunct professor and guest lecturer at Penn State, Wharton, Temple, UPenn, Drexel, University of the Arts, Cabrini and Bentley. He earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in journalism in 1983 from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and lives with his wife and family in Charlestown, Pennsylvania.
Dave Mihalovic, Rosetta Marketing
“Don't Cross Your Signals: Designing For Variable Interaction Models"
Today our clients are delivering branded experiences not only across
channels, but across modalities. As experience designers we're
challenged with delivering a great experience for use on the desktop,
touch based mobile devices and even voice based interfaces. In this
discussion we'll explore ways to educate clients while delivering
scalable experiences that will work across modalities.
About Dave Mihalovic
Dave has served in senior creative leadership roles with Rosetta for the past 5 years and has worked with key clients including Botox, Panasonic, ACUVUE, Microsoft, and Novartis. He has over 13 years of experience in digital marketing, cross-channel relationship marketing, print and interactive development.
Previously, he served as Interactive Creative Director with both Razorfish and Pierce. While there he led development efforts for companies including American Express, Lifetime Television, Virgin Music, JP Morgan Chase, L’Oreal, Novartis, and Urban Outfitters. Dave also spent time developing next-gen creative solutions for companies like Ogilvy, Xylem and Musikube.
David received his MFA from the Parsons School of Design. He received his BA in Communication Design from Rutgers University.
